Ours is an Inter-caste Marriage. Myself I'm from Jain Community and She belongs to Nepali Community. Before Marriage we were in touch with each other via WhatsApp and Calling for about 7Months. Initially We decided that We shall understand each other and be friends. Before the end of 2Months We committed to each other and started planning to convince our family for this inter-caste marriage. Initially Girl side family were against for this Marriage due to Caste issue. During My Business trip to Mumbai in October I met Shobha Thakur and family at their Home in Virar. As the news spread one after the other all their family members came to see Me. Discussion went on well for around 1hr. When I was about to leave, I asked My Mother-in-Law that I had come with a small gift for all. My Mother-in-Law permitted Me to hand over the Special Gift(Engagement Ring) to My Dream Girl and the family members equally honored Me with Nepali style "Shagun". On 20th November 2015 Shobha Thakur and family came to Bangalore to discuss and meet Us. 21th We all celebrated My Birthday @ Home and Same day My Family agreed and blessed this relationship. In-spite of many small and big hurdles Our Marriage Date was out and We got Married and Engaged on 20th January 2016 @ Virar, Mumbai.
